Mailchimp is still the best-known newsletter tool in the world, with a mature platform and integrations with almost everything. But fair is fair. The free plan was cut back in February 2026 to 250 contacts and 500 emails a month, and the paid plans get expensive quickly as your list grows. If you have been happily using Mailchimp for years, there is no urgent reason to leave. If you are starting today, Brevo or MailerLite will treat you better.
