Mailchimp is still the best-known newsletter tool in the world, with a mature platform and integrations with almost everything. But credit where it is due: the free plan was cut back in February 2026 to 250 contacts and 500 emails a month, and the paid plans get expensive quickly as your list grows. If you have been happily using Mailchimp for years, there is no urgent reason to leave; if you are starting today, Brevo or MailerLite will treat you better.
