What is MailShortlist?

MailShortlist compares newsletter toolswithout taking instructions from the tools it compares. The aim is a fast, well-founded choice: tools are set side by side on price, quality, and how useful they are in day-to-day sending, and every one links straight to the provider's own site.

How the comparisons are made

  • Tools earn their place on quality and usefulness for senders, never on the size of the commission.
  • Prices and plan limits are checked against the providers' own pages and refreshed regularly; what you pay usually depends on list size and sending volume.
  • Ratings are editorial. Ease of use, features, the free plan, and price all count.
  • Guidance here is general in scope; it points you toward the right tool rather than replacing your own trial.

The complete method, down to which inputs count and why commissions cannot reorder the list, is on how we rank.

Funding and independence

MailShortlist is free to read. Some links are affiliate links, which means a sign-up through one of them may earn us a small commission. You pay the same either way, and it has no bearing on which newsletter tools we recommend. The details are in our disclaimer and privacy policy.

Who runs it?

MailShortlist belongs to the Shortlist family of comparison sites, run by Orai Media, a Dutch company that builds independent comparison and advice sites. The site is maintained continuously, with fresher figures and new comparisons added over time.
